CO-FOUNDER · CLEVER OCTOPUS

The conversation you haven't been having out loud.

I work with senior executive women in the moment after the moment - when the corporate chapter has closed and everyone around you wants to skip past the part where you figure out what actually happened. I bring warmth, candor, and the willingness to name the thing you've been carrying around but haven't said.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Why I Do This Work

My father never got to build the business he'd dreamed of his whole life. I was young when I lost him, and old enough to understand what that meant. Some lessons arrive early and stay permanent. Knowing that time is not a renewable resource is one of mine.

I still spent almost 25 years in corporate. I was good at it. I even loved a lot of it. But, I was also felt like I was wearing a jacket two sizes too small - constrained by what corporate culture expected, gradually shrinking smaller than I actually was. I left later than I should have.

Looking back, what I needed in my last decade of corporate work was someone to ask me one direct question - is this actually the work you want to be doing for the next twenty years? I never got asked.

I built Clever Octopus with Heather because most senior executive women navigating displacement need a real conversation, not a tactical playbook. That's the work I'm here for.

What Thirty Minutes With Me Looks Like

What we'll do in thirty minutes.

  • I'll listen to the version of the story you haven't told most people yet.

  • I'll help you name what you're carrying that doesn't need to come with you into the next chapter.

  • I'll tell you whether what we do at Clever Octopus actually fits where you are — and what I'd recommend if it doesn't.

You walk away with permission to call it what it is. No pitch.

FREE AUDIT · FOR DISPLACED SENIOR EXECUTIVES

You know exactly what you're done tolerating. You just haven't written it down yet.

You built something remarkable in the corporate world. Then the chapter closed, and not by your choosing. The Never Again Audit is a 15-minute exercise that helps you write down the criteria your next chapter has to meet. So the next role you take is one you choose, not one you default into. Here's what you'll walk away with:

  • A clear list of what you absolutely refuse to repeat in your next role or venture

  • The specific conditions that made your last chapter feel like a jacket two sizes too small, named and on paper

  • A decision filter you can run any opportunity through before you commit

  • Honest language for what you actually want next — not what you think you should want
